Russia extends validity of e-visa for travelers

Russia continues to develop its e-visa system in order to increase the inflow of tourists to the country. One of the key steps was the decision to extend the period of stay for foreign citizens holding an e-visa: they will now be able to stay in Russia for up to 30 days, as opposed to the previous 16. Also, the validity of the visa itself has been increased from 60 to 120 days. This innovation has received support from the government commission on legislative activity.
These innovations are aimed at attracting more foreign tourists and entrepreneurs, as well as people coming to Russia with humanitarian and visitor intentions. Increasing the period of stay will create more convenient conditions for planning trips, which, in turn, will contribute to the active development of both the tourist and business sectors of the country.
The introduction of such changes is a response to the increased interest in the e-visa system, and it is expected that they will have a positive impact on Russia's economy and improve its international relations.
As a reminder, the single electronic visa provides an opportunity to enter Russia for various purposes, including tourism, business travel, as well as participation in cultural, political and sporting events. It is available to citizens of 64 countries, including Germany, which makes it attractive to many travelers and businessmen.
