E-Visa for Laos

Follow the Laos visa policy and apply at least one week before your trip to make sure your e-visa is approved in time. Once approved, your Laos e-visa will be emailed to you. Please print a copy of the e-visa and present it at the border control when entering Laos.

Border guards may also request additional documents from the e-visa holder upon arrival, such as proof of financial solvency to pay for the stay.

If an e-visa is not available to you, or if you plan to visit Laos for purposes other than tourism or intend to stay for an extended period of time, you should apply for a consular visa at a diplomatic mission.
