Electronic visa to Uzbekistan

The electronic visa to Uzbekistan, called eVisa, was introduced on July 15, 2018. It is an online visa issued by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan as part of the eVisa system aimed at simplifying the online visa application process for Uzbekistan.

Travelers can choose between three types of e-visa to Uzbekistan: single entry, double entry and multiple entry online visa. Regardless of the type chosen, an e-visa to Uzbekistan remains valid for 90 days (three months) from the date of issue and allows its holders to spend a total of 30 days in Uzbekistan.

The e-visa system allows all eligible citizens to obtain an online visa to Uzbekistan by following three simple steps using any work device. Travelers can submit an online application at least three business days prior to their planned trip and receive their e-visa to Uzbekistan via email in PDF format.

In addition, immigration officers will require the visa (printed or digital form) and travel document upon arrival at border control. In case the passport expires before the visa is issued, this will also invalidate the entry permit.

Validity period and cost of e-visa

All types of e-visas (single entry, double entry and multiple entry) are valid for exactly 90 days from the date of issuance. This means that from the date of visa issuance a traveler has 3 months to enter Uzbekistan.

It is recommended to plan your trip so that entry into the country takes place on approximately the 60th day from the date of visa issuance. This is the best option in order to utilize the maximum allowed stay of 30 days.

After 90 days from the date of issuance, the visa is considered invalid, even if the traveler has not had time to use the allowed number of entries.

It is also mandatory to have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of planned entry.
