E visa for Uganda

e-Visa for The Uganda, introduced by the Ugandan government in 2016 to simplify the visa process for various visa categories, is available exclusively online through a special online application.

e-Visa to Uganda system allows eligible citizens to submit a convenient electronic application and receive an approved visa electronically, which will be sent via email. With some exceptions applying to the approximately 10 nationalities that can obtain a visa on arrival, e-visa for Uganda is available to all foreign passport holders who are not on the visa-free list for that country.

Once e-Visa to Uganda is approved, a copy is sent to the applicant's e-mail address and it must be printed out to be presented upon entry at Uganda border control.

This travel authorization does not guarantee entry into Uganda. If necessary, travelers will be subject to secondary screening before the visa is stamped in their passport.
