Visa for Uganda

Traveling to Uganda requires a visa unless you are a citizen of a country that has visa-free travel with Uganda. This means that you can either apply for a visa through our agency or go to the nearest Ugandan embassy. Although some people prefer to visit the embassy, we highly recommend using our service. The procedure is completely online and only takes 15 minutes of your time. We also have an excellent customer service team to assist you if needed.

All visas, permits and passes are approved within two to three working days, except in special cases where more documents and/or verification may be required. However, applicants are advised to submit their documents at least five business days prior to their intended travel date.

* - All applicants must have a valid passport, valid for at least 6 months from the date of intended arrival in Uganda.

** - Failure to do so may require mandatory yellow fever vaccination upon arrival in Uganda, as well as some quarantine measures. Children under 5 years of age should also be immunized against polio.

COMESA*: Angola, Eritrea, Malawi, Madagascar, Seychelles, Swaziland, Zambia, Comoros, Kenya, Mauritius, Zimbabwe.

EAC**: Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Burundi, South Sudan.

OTHERS: Antigua, Barbados, Fiji, Grenada, Lesotho, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Cyprus, Bahamas, Belize, Gambia, Jamaica, Malta, Singapore, St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
