Electronic visa to Sao Tome and Principe

In accordance with the visa regulations of Sao Tome and Principe, citizens from more than 155 countries can take advantage of the convenient e visa programme in Sao Tome and Principe to obtain an electronic visa to visit this island country.

The introduction of the e-visa for Sao Tome and Principe was initiated by the Government of the Republic in order to speed up the visa application process for short-term trips for tourism, business meetings or transit stays in the archipelago.

To apply for an e-visa for Sao Tome and Principe, eligible citizens need to complete a simple online form, providing basic personal and passport details. They will then be sent an approved e-visa via email. Upon arrival at the Sao Tome and Principe International Airport, applicants can present a printed copy of the e-visa.

Requirements for the Sao Tome and Principe E-visa include having a valid passport with at least 1 year validity, having at least one blank page to stamp on arrival, and having a valid credit or debit card to pay the visa fee. A current postal address to which the approved visa will be delivered is also required.
