Great news for everyone who has been waiting for the annual Green Card lottery!

The lottery started on October 2, 2024, which was officially announced on the U.S. Government Portal.

Any citizen of any country that is eligible for the Green Card lottery, including family members, can participate in the lottery. All that is required is to fill out an online application form.

The applicant must be over the age of 18 (all minor children are added to the application with the parent as co-dependents). The applicant is also required to have a passport, a complete high school education or 2 years of verified work experience in the last 5 years.

What to consider when applying for a Green Card:

Prepare a photograph in JPEG format.
To apply, it will be mandatory to upload an electronic passport photo. It is important that the photo be in color and relatively recent, taken within the last 6 months.
You may participate in the lottery once per year.
Repeated entries will not be accepted and may result in disqualification of the participant.
The application form must be completed in English within 30 minutes.
If you do not complete it in time, you can start again, but you will have to fill in all the fields from scratch.
The application form can only be sent once.
Please make sure that all data is accurate before submitting, as it is not possible to make corrections after submission.
Resubmission is only possible if there is no confirmation of registration.
If you have not received a notification of acceptance, you can resubmit the application form.
The confirmation of acceptance must be saved.
Once your application has been accepted, you will receive a confirmation that must be retained until the lottery results are finalized.
