In honor of World Teachers' Day, Dubai's Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, announced a revolutionary initiative. Outstanding teachers in the emirate's private education sector will now have the opportunity to secure a prestigious 10-year residency permit.

The decision, initiated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, emphasizes the key role of teachers in shaping the country's future. “Educators are the architects of tomorrow, inspiring the youth and nurturing leaders,” Sheikh Hamdan noted.

The program will reach out to teachers from private preschools, schools and universities in Dubai who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and have been recognized by the community for their contribution to improving the quality of education.

The initiative is part of Dubai's ambitious Education Strategy 2033, aimed at transforming the industry and enabling the training of the country's next generation of leaders.

UAE President Sheikh Mohammed also expressed his deep appreciation to the teachers, emphasizing their invaluable contribution to the development of society.

It is worth noting that the long-term residency program is already available to top UAE students, many of whom have been awarded “golden visas” for their academic excellence.

This initiative reinforces Dubai's status as a leader in education by attracting talented educators and investing in human capital.
