The United Arab Emirates is introducing a new category of guest visas from June 30, 2025, intended for job seekers and skilled professionals who wish to legally enter the country to look for work or perform short-term professional tasks. The new policy aims to attract international talent and support strategic sectors of the economy, such as artificial intelligence, renewable energy, infrastructure, and tourism.

The new guest visa will be available in three options, allowing single entry for 60, 90, or 120 days. The visa application process is simplified by the fact that no sponsor or proof of employment is required. This greatly facilitates the procedure for freelancers, independent professionals, and recent graduates seeking to explore employment opportunities in the United Arab Emirates.

Under the updated policy, applicants must meet the following requirements: MOHRE skills level 1 to 3 (e.g., engineers, healthcare professionals, business analysts), a university degree (bachelor's degree or higher), recent graduation from one of the world's top 500 universities (within the last two years), and proof of financial solvency to live in the country.

This measure demonstrates the UAE's commitment to attracting highly qualified professionals from around the world to strengthen its position on the global stage and accelerate the development of key economic sectors.
