China expands visa-free travel for citizens of 9 more countries
From November 8, 2024, the People's Republic of China introduces visa-free travel for citizens of nine new countries. This list includes 8 European countries: Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Slovakia, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, and South Korea.
Now residents of these countries can enter the territory of China without visas for business and tourist trips, transit, as well as to visit relatives and friends for up to 15 days.
This decision is aimed at strengthening business and cultural ties, as well as at creating more favorable conditions for interaction between states within the framework of China's active immigration program.
Thus, China has already approved visa-free entry for a number of countries in 2024: on March 7 for six European countries, and in July 2024 added 15 more European Union countries, including Germany, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
The new visa-free entry rules for all approved countries will remain in effect until December 31, 2025.
