Visa-free entry to Belarus extended until December 31, 2025 : what tourists need to know
Good news for citizens of Germany and many other European countries!
On December 13, 2024 the National Border Committee of Belarus announced the extension of visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries until December 31, 2025. Now tourists can freely visit the country without the need for a visa.
According to the new rules, citizens of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia, as well as persons with non-citizen status in Latvia, will be able to stay in the country for up to 90 days from the moment of entry. For citizens of the other 35 European countries, the period of temporary stay is limited to 30 days. It is important to note that the total number of days spent in Belarus without a visa should not exceed 90 days within a calendar year.
For the convenience of foreign citizens, visa-free entry to Belarus is possible through any international road and railway checkpoints. Departure from the country is also possible through all international road and railroad crossings, as well as through all airports of Belarus.
