Visa on arrival in Nepal can be obtained by almost all of the above mentioned citizens except for citizens of Afghanistan, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Iraq, Cameroon, Liberia, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria, Somalia, Eswatini, and Ethiopia. Citizens from these countries only need to obtain visa in advance from Nepal embassy or consulate, they cannot obtain visa on arrival or online.

When applying for visa on arrival in Nepal at the airport, it is recommended to have the following documents:

  • A valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry into Nepal.
  • A recent passport size photograph that meets the requirements.
  • Proof of residence address in Nepal.
  • Completed and signed Nepal visa application form, which can be obtained and filled online or picked up locally at the airport.

It is recommended that you complete and print the application form in advance so that you have all the necessary documents to apply for your visa on arrival.
