Electronic transit visa (VTB)

The VTB visa or transit visa is exclusively for foreign nationals who transit through Guinea on their way to a third country.

This type of visa is issued for a very short period of time - no more than 3 days. The VTB visa entitles you to stay at the airport of Guinea while waiting for a connecting flight or to transit through the territory of Guinea by road/rail.

The VTB visa does not entitle you to leave the transit area of the airport or travel outside the transit route. Also on this visa it is not allowed to engage in labor, commercial or educational activities on the territory of Guinea.

To obtain a VTB visa, you must provide proof of visa to the country of final destination, if required, as well as tickets confirming the transit route through Guinea.
