Sudan visa
Most foreign nationals require a pre-arranged visa to enter Sudan. It can be obtained at the Sudanese embassy or consulate abroad. The process is quite complicated and time-consuming - it takes at least a week, so it is worth submitting documents well in advance, approximately 1-2 months before the proposed trip.
To request a visa you will need to provide a list of mandatory and additional documents in accordance with the rules of the embassy. Providing false or fake information will result in the denial of a visa.
Some categories of travelers are issued a visa to Sudan upon arrival at the airport. Holders of diplomatic and service passports of a number of African and Asian countries are also exempt from obtaining a preliminary visa. However, even in this case, before traveling to Sudan, it is recommended to clarify the current conditions of entry at the Sudanese embassy or visa center.
