Zambia: visa-free options for new countries from January
Zambia has taken an important step in tourism and business development by announcing the expansion of visa-free travel for foreign nationals from 53 countries. This was announced by Zambia's Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security, Jack Mwiimbu, at a press conference on December 18. The abolition of visa regime will come into effect from January 1, 2025.
The Minister emphasized that this measure is in line with the President's initiative to promote Zambia as an attractive destination for tourists, entrepreneurs and investors. The abolition of visas will create new economic opportunities, boosting tourism, trade and job creation.
