Tunis

Tunisia is actively working on the implementation of an electronic visa system, which will be a significant step within the framework of the Digital Tunisia 2025 strategy. At a recent meeting of the Council of Ministers dedicated to this issue, it was emphasized that the new system will facilitate the application and visa process, making it more accessible and speeding up the procedure for applicants.

The Prime Minister said that thanks to the electronic platform, the waiting time for tourists and business travelers will be reduced, and it contributes to the growth of tourist flow and the strengthening of Tunisia's international economic relations.

At the moment, citizens of most countries, including those from Europe (excluding Cyprus), can enter Tunisia without a visa by providing a valid ID card. A travel brochure from a travel agency or hotel booking confirmation and return tickets are also required.

The list of countries whose citizens are allowed visa-free entry to Tunisia with a valid passport allows a stay of up to 90 days
