Obtaining a medical visa on arrival

More than 80 countries, including EU countries, are able to obtain a visa on arrival at any port of entry in Lebanon. Visitors arriving with a visa on arrival have a stay period of up to 30 days, which can be extended up to three months if necessary. The visa on arrival is free of charge.

The following documents may be required to apply for a medical visa on arrival:

  • a valid phone number,
  • proof of a valid residence address in Lebanon during the stay,
  • round-trip flight tickets (valid and non-refundable)
  • a passport without stamps, seals or visas from Israel.

Foreign nationals who are allowed to obtain a visa upon arrival in the country can also obtain a visa at the Lebanese embassy or consulate before their trip.
