E-visa to Ivory Coast

To simplify the entry process, the Government of Côte d'Ivoire has introduced an online e-visa system. This multiple-entry visa allows you to stay in the country for a short period of time.

The online e-visa application is a simplified procedure. The applicant only needs to fill out the application form on the website using a smartphone or a computer connected to the internet. There is no need to visit the embassy.

Currently, citizens of about 120 countries are eligible for such a visa. After the application is approved, the visa is sent to your e-mail. This allows you to avoid queues at the airport or at border checkpoints.

The e-visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance and authorizes multiple entries into Côte d'Ivoire through Abidjan airport. However, once the visa expires, you must leave the country or immigration laws will be violated.

The e-visa for multiple-entry is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. It authorizes entry through Abidjan airport.

Important: Upon expiration of the visa, it is necessary to leave Côte d'Ivoire, otherwise the migration regime will be violated. Thus, the electronic visa is convenient for short-term tourist, business and transit trips

Important: Upon arrival at Abidjan airport, you must present the same passport for which the e-visa was issued, a printed confirmation of online registration, a receipt of payment and a yellow fever vaccination certificate. It is also mandatory to undergo biometric data collection (fingerprints and photo) from the age of 12. A printed visa to enter Côte d'Ivoire will then be issued.

• Reside in a country included in the list of states eligible for an e-visa
• Hold a valid passport issued in the country of residence
• Do not plan to reside permanently in Côte d'Ivoire
• Do not intend to work on the territory of Côte d'Ivoire
• Can prove sufficient financial means to stay in Côte d'Ivoire
• Do not pose a threat to public order and the territorial integrity of Côte d'Ivoire
• Are law-abiding citizens

Thus, the electronic visa is intended for short-term stay in Côte d'Ivoire for tourism, business and transit purposes, provided that the necessary conditions are met.
