Electronic visas to Indonesia: fast, convenient, online
Prior to this innovative online service, foreign nationals had to apply for a visa on arrival (VOA) at the airport upon entry into Indonesia to obtain a tourist visa. This often resulted in long queues of tourists at border control points at major international airports in Indonesia.
Similarly, a VOA visa holder wishing to extend his or her stay in Indonesia must personally visit a border control checkpoint to apply for an extension of stay permit. Valid: 30 days
Extension possibility: up to extra 30 days
Document: Passport valid for at least 6 months after entry
For: tourism, social purposes (humanitarian aid, family emergency), business, visit of state officials, transit, sports events, trainings, short-term education
Single entry
Period of stay: 60 days. It can be extended up to 2 times, i.e. up to 180 days.
Documents necessary for application: Passport (valid at least for another 7 months), a color photo and payment
