How do I apply for a business visa to Angola?

An embassy or consular visa is required to enter the country. Citizens of a number of countries must go to the embassy or consulate to apply for Angola business visa. This rule applies to short visits related to tourism or business.

Angola's visa policy requires more than 45 different nationalities to obtain an embassy visa to enter the country, regardless of the purpose of the visit or its duration. Travellers planning to stay for more than 30 days and/or coming for purposes other than tourism or business are also required to obtain the appropriate visa from the embassy.

Diplomas to be translated into Portuguese, notarised and certified by the Angolan consular and diplomatic mission

Criminal record check issued by the authorities of the country of origin or residence**

Medical certificate from the country of origin, translated into Portuguese, notarised by a notary and certified by the Angolan consular and diplomatic mission

A yellow fever vaccination card is mandatory

Statement of commitment to respect the laws of Angola

Employment contract or promise of employment

Curriculum vitae translated into Portuguese, notarised by a notary and certified by the Angolan consular and diplomatic mission

One recent passport size colour photograph of the applicant to be affixed to the application form

Original and photocopy of passport - main pages and pages containing information on migration movements

Current evidence of payment of tax liabilities
